Africa is set for a strong 2026. According to the UN, the continent’s economy could reach around 4% growth, driven by greater stability, rising domestic demand, and increased investment in key economies.
East Africa is expected to lead the way, with Ethiopia and Kenya growing through infrastructure development, urbanisation, and emerging industries. Other regions, such as West and North Africa, are also gaining momentum thanks to economic reforms and the recovery of sectors like tourism and services.
Despite challenges such as debt levels and global uncertainty, Africa is becoming one of the fastest-growing regions in the world. With a young population, expanding cities, and a growing digital economy, the continent is increasingly establishing itself as a major global player.
